The World Goes round and round, round and...

Hversu oft hefur maður rekið sig á það að eitthvað kemur í tísku aftur. Og hversu oft hefur maður pirrað sig á því að mamma eða amma hafi hent öllu flotta stuffinu sem þær eru í á gömlu myndunum.  Ekki nóg með það að þær hafi staðið í þessum tiltektum heldur uppgvötaði ég að ég er ekkert betri sjálf!  Mundi allt í einu eftir árshátíðardressinu mínu síðan í menntó - súperflotturrauðurleðursamfestingur!

Hefði svo verið að rokka í honum í dag.

Anyhow - þrátt fyrir að ýmislegt birtist aftur á tískupöllunum þá er að sjálfsögðu búið að pæla það út að flíkin sé ekki alveg nákvæmlega eins og hún var í denn, bara svo maður geti ekki notað það sem er gamalt ef maður býr svo vel að eiga eitthvað flott í geymslunni.  Enda er tískubransinn ein alsherjar "moneymakingmachine".  EN það eru sem betur fer til undantekningar frá reglunni og það kemur fyrir að maður lumi á gullmolum uppí skápum eða í geymslunni - So start digging folks.

How often have we noticed something that comes back in fashion after many years away.  And how many times have we asked our mother or grandmother about something they are wearing on the cool old pictures.  And always are we so dissapointed when we figure out that the clothing has been thrown away.  Well today I found out that I´m no better myself when I thought about this amazing red-faux-short-jumpsuit that I wore in the late ´90!

Anyhow - even though the clothes appear on the runway again after many years away, it has been thought out very well that something is different in some way.  So it is surely not possible for you who kept those gem for all these years in the closet!  But of course the fashionindustry is one big moneymakingmachine.  But sometimes nothing has been changed and thouse things in the closets are even better than the new once - So start digging folks!
